Boondi Raita: Week 4 October 2019

Ingredients:   Resource from Roy Den


1 tub (750g) of plain yogurt 

1 cup boondi (Surati or Haldirams brand) 

2 tsp sugar 

Salt to taste (about ½ tsp) 

1/4 tsp chili powder (optional) 

Finely chopped cilantro for garnish (optional) 

Step 1: Add the sugar and salt to the Yogurt tub and stir till yogurt is smooth and runny. Pour into a large serving bowl. 

Step 2: Add boondi to yogurt, mix well and leave it sitting for an hour at room temperature. 

Step 3: Garnish with finely chopped cilantro and chilli powder (optional) before serving.
