Cilantro Tahini Sauce: Week 3 October 2019

1/3 cup tahini

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup fresh cilantro

1/4 cup water

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

1 tsp. fresh lemon juice

1/4 tsp salt , plus more to taste


Combine all the ingredients into any blender, and blend until completely smooth. Taste and season with additional salt and/or lemon juice as needed.

Chill and store in the fridge until ready to use (note that the sauce will thicken once it chills in the fridge).

You can use this sauce as a dip for almost anything, drizzle it over a green salad, or enjoy it with falafels, sandwiches, stuffed peppers and wraps.
